Have just bought the latest issue of the mag primarily because of the inclusion of the Paragon Partition software on the disc. I then insert the DVD and lo and behold - no copy of said software on disc! ( even though the name of the program is printed all over it ). All in all, a waste of £5.99 and a complete con! Cheers guys!

pca_CDImaster - 5 February 2008 - 9:31pm
Same for me too. Registered & received the product key plus serial number, but when these are entered during the installation process, the 'NEXT' button never becomes highlighted. Anyone at PCA got any ideas? I would REALLY like to use this software!

Isitme - 5 February 2008 - 10:07pm
I have just tested it and it works. I am running Vista and don't really want to do an install so I cut it off part way.

One tip copy and paste the serial number and code from the email into the boxes. I assure you it will work.

Two tip if you are trying to install it to Vista - right click the exe, select Properties, Compatibility tab and choose to run it as XP Sp2.

I've had the same problem, on an XP Pro set up.
I contacted e-mail support, got an upgrade to 8.5se, but still got the same problem.

Tried copy n paste and typing it in. No difference.

Isitme - 10 February 2008 - 1:47pm
I have just installed it on a machine running XP Pro. It would not accept the codes when typed in, but accepted them when copied and pasted, even though I was very careful to type the codes exactly.

You are copying the full username eg - pm8x_free_per_6545?

There is certainly something wrong when it will not accept it when typed. :(

pca_CDImaster - 11 February 2008 - 10:56pm
I am running XP Home. Tried copy/paste and typing in the codes but no joy. I then tried to register again, (using a different email address) and got some new codes which worked fine. The obvious difference between the working & non-working codes was that the working code had one more digit at the end of the product code, i.e. pm8x_free_per_1234 instead of pm8x_free_per_123. Does this help anyone else?
