Isitme - 5 April 2008 - 8:19pm<p>Another update from <a href="http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=rb-watchlist&tag=watchmail_sc_name" class="bb-url"><span style="color:red">Adaware</span></a> unfortunately this program has gone from one of the best to one with some serious problems. Whether this update will cure some of the deficiencies remains to be seen.</p>
Problems installing latest version
pca_Richard Pearce - 6 May 2008 - 7:12pm<p>I experienced similar problems failing to update so decided to uninstall and download latest version(7.0.2.7). Unfortunately it won't install - I get a message stating aaw2007.exe is not a valid Win32 file. Anyone have any ideas??</p>

<p>I believe the new version is due out in a couple of weeks, so I'm going to wait for that.</p>

Isitme - 6 May 2008 - 8:51pm<p>Queries should not really be posted in this part of the forum, but just for information I think this program has got so bad that it is not worth installing. If you are having problems, uninstall it, AVG8(Free) does a better job with less problems.</p>

The new version of AVG8 is a dream as well, my you it did take 4hrs to do a complete scan with nothing else running, just under 2million items scanned.</p>
<p>I am having a slight bit of trouble with Spybot S&D takes 3 or 4 attempts at immunizing the Global Hosts</p>
