Laptop Keys

Hello.

I came home today to find some coffee had been spilt on the table where my laptop is, luckily the laptop was closed but I think some liquid has gone under the keys!  most of the coffee went directly under the laptop. Also when I hit the start button to close down laptop, without even going to the page to click shut down/restart etc, the laptop shuts down as soon as I hit start, hmmmmm

I read somewhere, it is pretty easy to pop the keys out to clean, however I am a little concerned about forcing any of them out. Any suggestions please?
