I refer to your DVD 108 on 2 issues.
1) The item about ‘Configure Vista’s UAC’; WHAT ISSUE OF VISTA ARE YOU USING?
Like most people I am using Home Premium, which displays nothing like the Security Policies you show!!! This leads me onto:-
2) ‘Install Updates with Ease’; on the disc is DriverMax, which I ran, however DriverMax decided to download the latest version.
This tries to make a directory in, C:\Users\~~\AppData\Local\Temp\*.tmp ERROR 5: access is denied.
Thinking this was related to 1) above I even switched off entirely UAC, but to no avail. Please tell me how I get at these stupid Security Policies and how I install DriverMax.
Regards Philip
