Have PCA got something against Sky Broadband? Of the 5 ISPs recommended I would rate them above all except possibly BE Unlimited(subject to FUP) Admittedly you have to have Sky TV to qualify but as many millions already have it, that is no big drawback. Sky offer up to 16Mb for £10 a month with truly unlimited downloads, no FUP, no other even comes close. Tiscali, Plusnet and TalkTalk have all suffered loses to Sky. I personally have an up to 8 mb connection with a 40Gb limit, which gives me a download speed of just under 6900kbps, for £5.00 a month. No doubt there will be a reason why they are not recommended.

ISP selection
Christian Hall - 17 September 2008 - 3:51pmThanks for the comments. That page in the broadband feature was simply a selection of what we feel are hot deals for various people's needs, the exclusion of Sky was nothing deliberate and indeed we have one staff member using it and very happy with the service. We don't tend to do roundups of broadband packages these days because they change so often, but if we revisit the subject of ISP deals I'm sure Sky will make an appearance in any list.
