Open Office 3

Hi Folks
Does Anyone in the office know when Open Office 3 will be out on General Download?
Reason i ask this is that i've been using the latest stable test release from their website and i have to admit - its rather good! I've looked on their site to see when it will be finally released and there's no date yet.
As for the program itself i do like the contributions from fellow open office users that appear to have made it past the final beta. Everything seems to be running smoothly and my documents now switch easily between formats.
Id be grateful if anybody knows if they could post the date here.
