remote desktop

hi

i've recently had to format my pc - the problem is that now i cannot remote to my home pc anymore - however i can remote to all our servers which are based on lans and over the internet.

the thing is when i try to connect with the correct ip i don't even get an error message it just resets itself back after 15 seconds.

if i put in a slight change to the ip then i get the usual "computer can not be found" error message.

i have changed nothing on my home pc, nor its router settings or static ip. i checked my pc is still being dhcp'd correctly and to the same ip and it is.

please help
