Hi All
I don't know if anyone can help with this or if anyone might have any appropriate suggestions, but a friend of mine and myself are thinking of doing our own podcast. Software wise, for editing etc, we were thinking of using audacity or something similar. For hardware however, I have a few questions.
Firstly, I dont want to spend a great deal of money (initially) on microphones, but I wondered if anyone had any good reccomendations (not condenser mics - too expensive and advanced for us at this point) for a basic but reasonable mic.
Secondly, we'd be having two microphones as we sit record sound for the podcast. Is there a suitable sound interface for plugging two microphones into prior to feeding the sound into the PC for editing?
Basicallty, I just want some pointers with regards to sound recoding for podcasts in terms of the hardware I'd need. My main and most basic concerns are (1) I need two mics, thus the ability to plug two in at once and feed the sound into the PC, and (2) at this stage this is just an amateur experiment so I dont want to spend a great deal of cash!
Any help would be appreciated!
