I'm working on an Evesham PC which has a Winfast K7NCR18G-Pro mobo. Several intermittent faults have been fixed but the PC refuses to restart and sometimes fails to boot up at all. I've changed the bios battery and checked all the settings, whick look normal and now need help. Very frustrating and do I give up and replace the mobo ?
Any advice appreciated.

Isitme - 19 October 2008 - 2:07pmI usually strip it down to the bare minimum. Remove everything that is not essential, including the hard drives and any spare ram. I even remove the mouse and keyboard if I can't get the post screen. Also reset the board by removing the battery and power lead then pressing the start button for 30 secs.
