Where is the Linux OS?

I am slowly getting used to the new PC Answers mag. It was a bit of a shock at first and I didn't want to renew my subscription, but I kept an open mind and watched the videos and read the articles carefully and have since renewed it

I do miss the Linux OS iso. you used to include as I really enjoyed trying out the live CD's and learning more about Linux. Any chance of including more Linux distros?

I must say, such a major revamp of the mag. was very brave but I think it was needed. Looking back, on the free DVDs many of the software programs were repeated each month and the articles (always excellent !) needed a facelift.

I shall continue to enjoy reading your new look PC Answers and watching the videos

but please give us back the Linux distro!

Hi tinnashrule,

I would have to agree, the distros were too one of my favourite parts of the disc, however the lack of them is down to space rather than choice, videos take up most of the space and many distros are a full CD in size.

We won't be ruling out including them in future, however they'll probably be much rarer than in the previous design.

Thank you for your kind words in regards to the redesign, it was a huge change and to many it was invading on a comfortable design that they were used to, but a lot of thought went into the new version, we just hope everyone else gives it a chance like you did.
