disabling wireless

Hi, bit of advice please (if poosible),ive had a WRT160N Router for a while now,but all the wireless pcs,laptops have been G adaptors or cards,but now ive got 3 new linksys wireless N adaptors WUSB300N,now the laptops have wireless card installed,now should i remove them from the laptops or just turn them off from the switches on the side of the laptops & just make a new wireless connection once i install the wireless N adaptors?....Cheers Abb

Sorry should of said One laptop is running win xp home ,& 2 others are running vista home premium all pcs are all up to date with windows etc etc....

As long as they are easily removable, but if the machines are under warranty, you might want to hold on to them until it runs out. If you have to return the machine for any reason, you should replace the original card. Remember to remove/uninstall the software before you remove any cards, so you do not get conflicts with the new cards.
